Former School District 158 Board of Education Member, Larry Snow passed away last week at the age of 61. Snow worked in the technology field, according to his campaign website from 2009, and eventually owned his own company. He served on the Board of Education starting in 2005.

“[Snow] was an individual who had a passion in what he did,” said board Vice President Donald Drazal.

His cause of death is unknown at this time. You can read his obituary which was published in The Daily Item.

” I knew [Snow] fairly well, he was extremely intelligent and very passionate about School District 158,” said board member Tony Quagliano. “This guy was living and breathing District 158.”

Both Quagliano and Drazal said that Snow inspired them in his actions and legacy with the school board.

“I would never question his passion,” said Quagliano.
