Charges have been filed against four people in connection with the H&I Grain scandal that left 60 eastern South Dakota farmers out an estimated $8 million.

KELOLAND Investigates first exposed that H&I Grain went under back in July of 2016, after the owner’s son Jared Steffensen, lost somewhere between $6 to 10 million of H&I Grain’s money hedging commodities.

Jared and three other family members are facing a number of charges.
