Thirteen extra officers will be on the streets of Sioux Falls Friday night.
It’s part of the Drive Sober, Get Pulled Over campaign. You won’t see any checkpoints set up to look for drunk drivers though.
“We’ll have a lot of officers that are specifically looking for impaired drivers and they just pretty much flood the city. They can go wherever they want to,” Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.
Police want to remind you to have a sober ride whether that be a cab, Lyft or friend.
