The ACLU of South Dakota’s staff attorney will respond to voting rights infringements across the state via an Election Day hotline. Voters who experience voting rights violations and irregularities or have other problems at the polls are encouraged to call the ACLU’s hotline at 605-368-0644. The statewide hotline will operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST on Nov. 6.
ACLU of South Dakota volunteers will also be donating their time – and their miles – to drive people to vote on Election Day. Rides to and from polling places will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in Sioux Falls. Sign up for a free ride a twww.aclusd.org or call 605-332-2508.
