Today Is The Last Day To Register To Vote In South Dakota

Monday is the last day to register to vote in South Dakota. November’s mid-term election is just 15 days away.

If you aren’t registered to vote here’s what you need to do:

There is a form that needs some basic information like your name and address. Click here to download the form.

Print it off and fill it out.

Then bring to your County Auditor’s office. Click here for a list of offices. Most are open until 5 p.m. on Monday.

You can also bring to:

  • Driver’s license station (when you are renewing or applying for a driver’s license you may also register to vote on the driver’s license application)
  • City Finance Office
  • Public assistance agencies providing food stamps, TANF or WIC
  • Department of Human Services offices which provide assistance to the disabled
  • Military recruitment offices

It’s also a big day because the campaign finance reports are due in the Gubernatorial race. That means, we’ll find out just how much Kristi Noem and Billie Sutton have raised ahead of these last two weeks.
