Officials in Dakota Dunes are issuing non-mandatory evacuations. A news conference just wrapped up before noon.

They are making flood preparations by putting up some sandbags.

The concern with the Missouri River at this hour is the water level at the Gavin’s Point Dam, and another dam breaking in Nebraska further upstream.
