It’s a big day for the University of South Dakota Discovery District.
Several people gathered for a ground breaking for the first building at the research park. The Discovery District is an 80-acre corporate and academic research park across to the University Center in northwest Sioux Falls. SAB Biothereapeutics will be an anchor tenant in the building.
“A great place where there’s going to be a combination of industry, academia, and other things that I think will make this a central location in Sioux Falls and certainly one of the most exciting places for the university and also our company,” President and CEO of SAB Biotherapeutics, Eddie Sullivan said.
The project will cost about $30.9 million.
